Every Role Matters
Stardust is built by the community, for the community. Whatever you love to do โ we need you.
How to Get Involved
There are no small roles at Stardust โ on stage or off. Whether you want to perform, build sets, donate your time, fill a seat, or just tell a friend, every contribution shapes what we become together.
Audition for our productions โ drama, musicals, original works. All experience levels welcome. Everyone gets a fair shot.
Learn more โBuild the world the actors inhabit. Sets, costumes, lighting, sound, stage management โ productions live and die by great crews.
Learn more โAs a nonprofit, your generosity keeps us going. Every dollar funds productions, costumes, equipment, and community access to the arts.
Learn more โFill the seats. Your presence is what makes live theater alive. Bring your family, your neighbors, your skeptical friends.
Learn more โ"There are no small roles, only small actors โ and that means something greater and beyond the stage."โ Michael N. Armento, as remembered by John Fox, DHS Academy Theater alum
On Stage
You don't need a rรฉsumรฉ. You don't need to have done this before. Stardust auditions are open to anyone with a desire to be on stage โ newcomers and veterans alike.
Our productions span the full range of performance art: classic drama, musical theater, original works, spoken word, and more. Whatever form of performance speaks to you, there is a place for it here.
We believe in casting people, not types. Come as you are. Let us see what you've got.
No auditions are scheduled right now โ but our first production is in the works. Sign up below to be among the first to hear when we open auditions.
What to expect at auditions
Behind the Curtain
Theater is a team sport. For every actor on stage, there are a dozen people making the magic possible. No prior experience required โ just a willingness to learn and show up.
Build the worlds our stories live in. If you can swing a hammer or pick up a paintbrush, you're exactly who we need.
Control the atmosphere. Lighting and sound design are among the most powerful storytelling tools in theater.
Bring characters to life through what they wear. Sewing skills welcome but not required โ lots of roles here.
Keep the show running smoothly. Stage managers are the organized backbone of every production.
Source, build, and manage the objects that populate our stage. Creative problem-solving at its best.
Capture the moments and help us share our story with the community through photography and social media.
Support the Mission
As a nonprofit organization, Stardust Community Players depends on the generosity of people who believe the arts make a community stronger. Every contribution โ large or small โ goes directly to our work.
Your support pays for production costs, costumes, set materials, venue rental, and programs that make theater accessible to everyone in our community.
Interested in sponsoring a specific production, event, or program? We'd love to talk.
Have your name or business associated with a specific show. Great visibility and a direct connection to the community.
Support our fundraisers, community gatherings, and special events. Ask us about event sponsorship packages.
Give toward wherever the need is greatest โ production costs, equipment, accessibility programs, and more.
Have materials, equipment, costumes, or a venue to offer? We welcome in-kind contributions of all kinds.
There is nothing like the electricity of live theater. The moment the lights go down and the stage comes alive โ it belongs to all of us.
One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is their first live theater experience. Bring a neighbor, a kid, a skeptical friend.
Be an Ambassador
Word of mouth is the most powerful thing a community theater has. If Stardust means something to you, share it.
Follow us on social media and share our posts โ audition announcements, event news, and behind-the-scenes moments reach more people when you share them.
Tell your neighbors, coworkers, kids' teachers, and barber. Let people know there's a community theater in Danvers and everyone is welcome.
Know a school, church, library, or local business that might want to partner with us? Make the introduction. We'd love to deepen our community roots.
