Leadership
Becky is thrilled to see her dream of creating a community theater to honor Mike Armento finally come to fruition. Her first introduction to theater was in the early 1980s, when she would tag along to rehearsals with her older sister and discovered the magical world of the stage. Uncle Mike was a mentor, friend, and teacher of all things theater. Becky has been a lifelong resident of Danvers.
Dan started with The Academy Theatre in the fall of 1984, at the start of his sophomore year at Danvers High School. During his three years he performed in The Pirates of Penzance, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, The Happy Time, Little Mary Sunshine, and My Sister Eileen. An Air Force veteran, he currently works in Human Resources for the VA and is happy to be reuniting with good friends after almost 30 years away from home.
Christine is thrilled to serve on the Board of Directors for Stardust Community Players. A graduate of Ithaca College's Class of 1994 with a B.S. in Theatre Arts Management, Christine brings a foundational passion for arts leadership and community engagement to the role. Their lifelong love for the stage was first ignited as a student in the legendary Danvers High School Academy Theatre, mentored by the amazing director Bill Endslow and honoring the inspiring legacy of its founder, Michael N. "Uncle Mike" Armento. Today, Christine is dedicated to fostering that same spirit of artistic excellence and creative community for local audiences and artists alike.

Directors & Trustees
Ken has always loved going to the theater. In 2019 his wife convinced him to help out with a production she was a part of — and he ended up on stage instead of building sets. He is so happy to be a part of this wonderful new theater. Although he never met Mike Armento, he feels like he knows him from all of the wonderful stories he has heard over the years.
Ellen is excited to be part of Stardust Community Players. Uncle Mike was the reason Ellen got into theatre. She still remembers her first day at DHS Academy Theatre — at 8 years old she helped her dad stack bricks for the set of My Sister Eileen. Staring out at the actors on stage, she was hooked. Ellen still has the hat that Uncle Mike gave her before he passed. She continued in theatre throughout high school and college, then worked for Walt Disney Studios Film Marketing for 11 years before moving back home to raise her family.
J.R. was introduced to live theater as a child and welcomes the opportunity to introduce it to the next generation.
