More Than a Stage —
A Community

Stardust Community Players is a Danvers-based nonprofit theater that believes the arts belong to everyone. We're not just performers putting on shows for an audience — we're neighbors, teachers, students, parents, and dreamers building something together.

Our productions span the full spectrum of performance art: classic drama, joyful musicals, original works, dance, spoken word, and beyond. If it ignites the human spirit, we're here for it.

We are passionate volunteers united by a single purpose — to celebrate what we can create when a community comes together and gives each other a chance to shine.

"It is more than just a stage — it is a space where dreams take shape, voices find their resonance, and stories unfold to captivate audiences of all ages."
— Stardust Community Players

We Are Of This Community,
Not Just For It

Everything we do flows from a belief that art is not a product delivered to an audience — it's something we make, experience, and grow through together.

01

Rooted in Danvers

We are part of the fabric of this town. Our cast, crew, and audience are our neighbors — and the stories we tell reflect the lives we share here.

02

Open to Everyone

No prior experience required. Whether you've never set foot on a stage or you've performed for decades, there is a role for you — on stage or behind the scenes.

03

All Forms of the Art

Stage performance is our heartbeat, but we embrace the full range: dance, spoken word, music, original works, and any art form that brings people into the same room.

In Honor of
Michael N. Armento

Stardust Community Players was founded with a deep sense of purpose — to carry forward the legacy of Michael N. Armento, the visionary founding director of the Danvers High School Academy Theater.

Michael's extraordinary dedication to the performing arts and his gift for drawing out the best in young people left a lasting imprint on countless lives in this community. His belief that every student had something worth saying — and deserved a stage to say it from — is the foundation we build on.

We strive to be worthy of that legacy every time we gather: by creating a space where creativity thrives, stories come alive, and the spirit of collaboration flourishes.
